This is the Cream of the crop of all Crower Peas. Awesome Taste for your favorite dish. This is for about 100 (1oz) Zipper Cream Crowder Peas. These are a southern favorite. Germination: 7 - 12 Days Days To Maturity: 67 days Southern favorite. Bushy 2-3 ft. plants bear prolifically. 6-9 in. pods with large, creamy-white seeds, 18- 20 seeds/pod, easy to shell. Unusually, seeds have a taste between English peas and cowpeas when fresh. Zipper Cream is very heat-tolerant and performs well when planted in late spring and summer. Zipper Cream Pea gets it’s name from the ease of shelling and the creamy texture of the finished product. Each pod has a string that acts as a zipper that makes them a very easy variety to shell. The peas are large and creamy white peas that melt in your mouth when cooked. Great for canning, freezing, or fresh eating. Very popular and Yummmmy.
