The product is a Blue Ribbon Arizona State Fair 1st Place Prize Winning Navajo Red Seeded Watermelon Seeds, which are considered heirloom seeds. Original seeds were provided by Native Seed Search in Tucson. You will receive 10 seeds with your order. Hard to find, these seeds are traditionally dry farmed on the Navajo Reservation. Can tolerate poor soil condition, hot weather and have been grown successfully in Phoenix, Arizona zone 9b. Produces a beautiful green spotted and striped rind, sweet red flesh and red seeds instead of black. Matures in around 90 days. Produces about 7- 10 lb fruits, like a smaller bowling ball.
