200+ (usually around 230) Pine Mountain Greasy Bean seeds. We've grown a lot of different heirloom beans, and these are our absolute favorite for taste. They are a climbing pole variety, and will need a trellis. The taller the trellis, the better they'll produce. They do have strings, but are definitely worth the effort. Beans are originally from the Letcher County area of Eastern Kentucky. They are called Greasy beans because of the shiny appearance of the bean pod, not because they are really Greasy. These beans are best when picked when the Bean is inside is plump and full. These are snap beans, not shelling beans.
