Hickory King Yellow is an open-pollinated heirloom corn variety with large kernels and tall plants. It's known for its versatility and rich flavor. Plants can grow to be 12–13 ft tall and produce two large ears per plant. Ears are very long and slender with large kernels typically 9”-10” in length. This variety is excellent for corn meal and grits or for livestock feed. Please note that this seed was grown during the 2025 season on our farm in West Virginia. We cannot guarantee germination rate or yield. There may also be occasional cracked kernels or small pieces of cob and husk mixed in with seed. Thank you for supporting our family farm!
