This listing is for (1x) seed pack of Hesperaloe parviflora (Red Yucca) seeds. Hesperaloe parviflora is a succulent that is native to the Chihuahuan Desert located in Northern Mexico and Southern Texas. The plant has evergreen leaves that have a fringe of white threadlike hairs along their edges. Hesperaloe parviflora will produce a flower stalk with red tubular flowers that can reach heights up to 5 feet tall. These flowers will attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to your landscape. Since Hesperaloe parviflora is drought tolerant and requires little maintenance, the species is now commonly used in xeriscapes and commercial landscapes throughout the United States. The leaves of Hesperaloe parviflora are spineless unlike Yuccas and Agaves. This makes the species a good alternative for landscapes where young children or pets may play. Hesperaloe parviflora goes by the common names of Red Yucca, Hummingbird Yucca, Redflower False Yucca, and Samandoque.
