Although there are many varieties of parsley, Italian parsley is grown for it's flavor, for use as a culinary herb. Curly-leaved parsley doesn't have the flavor of flat leaf, so it's often used as a garnish. Parsley is easy to grow, easy to harvest, and it tastes great! All parsleys are notorious for their slow germination. To help speed things up, soak your seeds in water overnight before planting. Parsley is pretty much a carefree plant once the seedlings are established. Steady light water and a little organic fertilizer. Flowers and seeds won't form until second year. 300+ Seeds per order.
