This is 2 lbs of the new Pinnacle Ladino White Clover which is a higher yielding, finer stemmed, and larger leaf variety of ladino clover. It is excellent for deer, turkey, livestock, bees, chickens, ducks, or any other type of grazing animal. It is especially attractive to deer because of the lush high protein leaves that it produces. It is a perennial that will last up to 5 years with good maintenance. Pinnacle Ladino provides high quality nutrition and yields up to 35% protein which is very important for sustaining deer throughout the year. Plant at the rate of 10 lbs per acre of coated and inoculated seed at a depth of no more than 1/8" deep or simply broadcast over the ground in February or March and let the freezing and thawing effect work the seed into the ground. Then, when soil temperatures warm, your seed will germinate rapidly and come up growing. Ladino clover requires 4-6 hours of either direct, broken, or filtered sunlight in order to grow sufficiently. This is fresh new crop seed that is coated and inoculated for optimum germination. It has been tested and has a minimum germination of 90%.
