The plants bear red-orange cherries with good flavor. The plant is quite small, barely reaching. It would work well in a container, I think.

Tesuque Blue Corn – from the Pueblo of Tesuque
Tesuque Blue was offered at the annual seed blessing and exchange in the spring. The medium tall, very stout stalks bear two 10″ ears with kernels of a deep violet blue. Tight husks and longer flags keep bugs at bay, though I did put a drop or two of mineral oil on the silks early. The pueblo of Tesuque is just north of Santa Fe and is a beautiful place. The corn makes a wonderful ornamental, but here it is ground for meal and made into flavorful tortillas. Grow a taste of Northern New Mexico in your garden this summer. Habenero de Arbol – Fiery little torches will spice up your life!
The Habenero de Arbol I grow does not have the classic scotch bonnet shape – they are more like candle flames upright on a very tall plant. The fruit is every bit as hot, though. While the peppers are late to mature at around 100 days, they are dependable and productive. A very unusual and ornamental plant which is easy to grow, Habenero de Arbol should find a place in your garden. A packet contains about 30 seeds.
