To grow Brugmansia from seed, you would follow standard seed-sprouting protocol. Begin by soaking the seeds overnight in warm water to soften the outer hull and hopefully create a split that will help the seed sprout faster and with greater ease. Prepare a seed tray or small pots with pre-moistened, well-drained potting soil or seed-starting mix. When planting, take care not to bury the seeds deeply. They need exposure to light to germinate. You can either press them gently into the surface of light, airy soil or cover them very lightly. Sow the seeds indoors early in the springtime. Cover the trays or pots with plastic wrap and keep them in a warm (65-70 degrees Fahrenheit) place with good natural or artificial light. Keep them carefully at temperatures of 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit. Germination should take 2-4 weeks, but sometimes it takes much longer. If all goes well, you should see results in a couple of weeks, but remember to be patient. Months could elapse before your plants emerge. Just keep your hopeful plants warm and provide them ample light and consistent moisture. Store Policies All seeds will come in a resalable plastic zip lock bag and placed in a bubble envelope so the seeds are not damaged by shipping machines. Double White Datura / Brugmansia Large Very Fragrant- Loved By Hummingbirds 15+
Angel Trumpet also known as Devils Trumpet have very fragrant, white trumpet shaped blooms that face upward and the plant is more of a bush than a tree reach 3 feet tall. Beginning in early summer and continuing until the fall weather sets in, the plant is covered with magnificent blooms, so fragrant that a single plant perfumes the garden. These compact plants are perfect for containers or as a scene-stealer in the garden. Datura is a perennial in zones 9 and warmer and usually lives about 4 or 5 years under good conditions. Grow as an annual in colder zones or bring in as house plant for the winter. Datura’s thrive in high heat, particularly in humid areas. Each plant can have several blooms open at any given time. They are very rapid growing plants in full sun or partial shade. Very attractive to butterflies, hummingbirds and sphinx moths. Datura’s can be started in pots or directly in the garden after last frost they also make a wonderful container plant on patios or decks. They transplant easily while small, but are more difficult to move after established in the garden. The plants/seeds/blooms are poisonous. THIS IS FOR 15 FRESH ORGANIC SEEDS AND GROWING INSTRUCTIONS. I do combine ship. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.
DATURA, SACRED DATURA, MOON FLOWER, DEVIL’S/ANGEL TRUMPET, LUSH, 50 SEEDS
50 SEEDS, DATURA WRIGHTII, SACRED DATURA All of our seeds ship with tracking.HAND HARVESTED AND CLEANED FOR THIS SEASON. They make large, lovely shrubs, about 2 to 2 1/2 feet tall, in a large pot, in my area. They tend to grow in a sprawl rather than just upright….making a lovely velvety mound. They start blooming early and abundantly. They are like the other daturas in that they are robust growers. Carefree. Easy. Large, interesting velvety emerald green leaves, that are covered, along with all the stems in soft, tiny white hairs. Very lush. Very tropical looking. SUPER PLANTINGS IN XERISCAPED LANDSCAPES. They can grow up to about 3 feet tall and about 4 feet across in the ground, and keep themselves fairly covered in arresting, fragrant, LARGE, absolutely white blooms from early summer until they are knocked down by the first freeze. They hold their beautiful LARGE trumpet blooms very upright….like torches. The buds are 8 to 9 inches long and open to a 4 to 5 in flare. It’s impossible to miss them. I grow them in zone 8b as a perennial….they almost always go dormant—to the ground—every winter and come right back again in the spring. Like their pepper and tomato relatives, they grow SO easily, very fast, and bloom quickly from seed. They will reseed themselves for the next year or you can collect the seed to have on hand just in case a particularly hard winter takes them out completely. They LOVE the sun, tolerate massive heat, require little attention and are water thrifty. An American native, Datura is a member of the family Solanaceae–nightshade—as are tomatoes, potatoes, tobacco, peppers–the list is long. All the nightshades have some level of toxicity in some to all of their parts. Obviously, we eat the fruit or tubers of tomatoes and potatoes, but the plants, themselves are toxic. All parts of this datura are toxic, from root to seed.Normal care should be taken when handling these plants. NORMAL. As in, consider wearing gardening gloves and DOwash your hands after planting or maintaining them. Avoid rubbing your eyes, mouth and nose while handling them. Just as you would with hot peppers…and should behave in any area of your garden. I have grown numerous varieties of daturas and have never had any adverse reaction. THESE SEEDS ARE FRESH, HOMEGROWN, HANDPICKED AND CLEANED, AND WERE COLLECTED FOR THIS PLANTING SEASON I CAN MAKE BULK QUANTITIES AVAILABLE IN SOME OF THE SEEDS I OFFER, AND WELCOME INQUIRIES! SHIPPING W/TRACKING (USPS Retail Ground) OR PRIORITY SHIPPING AVAILABLE ON REQUEST AT CHECKOUT ****I am happy to respond to inquiries and give the best information I have. ABOUT OUR SEEDS (A SORT OF DISCLAIMER): ***We grow, harvest, clean and store our seeds, ourselves.*** **Some plants are restricted by various states. We will notify you if we are aware of any restriction, but we mostly know about restrictions here in Texas. ULTIMATELY IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER to verify if your purchase is restricted by your state, county or city government. **INTERNATIONAL BUYERS……While we are happy to ship seeds internationally, WE DO NOT OFFER PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATES. Again, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER to verify whether or not seeds might be banned from import into that country and might be seized at customs. **MANY of the seeds we offer are NOT annuals with quick starts and short lifespans. Most are particularly suited to withstand the the extreme heat of central Texas summers. Some will take things entirely at their own pace and require a really warm soil and/or other special treatment for “quicker” germination…and germination MAY require weeks, months and longer. **There are all manner of predators and conditions which can affect, hamper or even destroy germination….like molds, soil fungi, bugs, birds, squirrels, armadillos, pets and other varmints, soil and air temps (day AND night), water, light, care or lack thereof, contamination of planting media, and the list goes on. **Germination tips are sent with each variety of seeds. The general method that works well for us in our location, particularly. **BUYERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO THEIR OWN RESEARCH for their particular areas. The internet abounds in information. Grower forums, county extension agents, and local nurseries can also be quite valuable sources. ** “FLOATING SEEDS” is not necessarily an indication of seeds with no viability. In some species, floating is the indicator that the seed IS viable….and in some species (like citrus) both sinkers and floaters will germinate, depending on the maturity and freshness of the seed. **** THANKS! **** _gsrx_vers_836 (GS 7.0.14 (836))

Datura Wrightii Seeds (1 bag of 15 seeds)
I have lots of datura seeds for sale! { $6 for 1 bag of 15 seeds } Species: Datura wrightii, aka “Sacred Datura” -perennial (some sources say otherwise) -Full sun -Sandy soil -plant spring or summer -outdoor -light watering This species is native to the Southwest USA all the way down to Northwestern Mexico. Despite how abundant these flowers are here, they are hard to find. I’ve been breeding and perfecting this species for the last 8 years (datura wrightii), experimenting in various environmental settings to produce seeds with high drought tolerance, higher germination rates, frost/intense heat resilience, and bug tolerance. These Sacred Datura seeds are bred using seeds from daturas native to Rio Puerco Valley NM, Farmington NM, Sonora MX, and Tijuana MX Frontera. These are great for both outdoor (potted, or directly into Mother Earth), or indoor (provided you have a healthy temp setting and appropriate lighting/environmental conditions). They bloom in the evening for the most part, but they also show off during the summer light hours. The stems and leaves have a pungent nutty smell, and the white flowers have a sweet soapy intoxicating fragrance. These night time beauties will enhance your garden! They are amazing to watch when the flowers bloom at night, and their energy is quite surreal! REQUIRED WARNING:: these are for ornamental use only. Keep away from children and pets. Every part of this flower is known to be poisonous and contains a number of tropane alkaloids, and should not be consumed in any way, shape or form. Please use great care when handling, and research this plant before handling if you need to know more.
