You are bidding on about 25 PIXIE WHITE CREPE MYRTLE SEEDS – Lagerstroemia ‘Pixie White’. ( see my other crepe myrtle varieties ) This crape myrtle hybrid cultivar is a miniature weeping variety . It is a deciduous, densely branched, small upright shrub which features dark green foliage and terminal, crepe-papery inflorescences (panicles) of white flowers which bloom from late spring into fall. In the South, this miniature crape myrtle typically grows 1.5-2′ tall. This compact crape myrtle may be grouped or massed in borders or foundations. Also a good rock garden specimen. Container plant for patios. Zone: 6 to 9 Height: 1.00 to 2.00 feet Spread: 1.00 to 2.00 feet Bloom Time: June to September Bloom Description: White Medicinal use of Crepe Myrtle: The stem bark is febrifuge, stimulant and styptic. You are bidding on about 25 POWHATAN CREPE MYRTLE SEEDS – Lagerstroemia indica ‘Powhatan’ .( see my other crepe myrtle varieties )Maturing to 20 ft tall with a 15 ft+ canopy, it is one of the new cold hardy, disease resistant, with 6-8″ long inflorescences (panicles) of medium pink flowers to violet- purple flowers from mid-summer to early fall. Slightly lighter purple than Catawba, but much darker than Apalachee. Features dark green foliage (bronze tinged when young) turning dull orange to dark red in fall .Fall color ranges from orange to red, and smooth grey to reddish-brown bark is attractive year round. In the South, this cultivar can easily be grown as a woody shrub or small tree with a maximum size of 11′ tall and 11′ wide , smaller in the north .
