I'm selling over 600 + kinds of seeds ( and also live plants during the warmer months ) so check my other auctions . You are bidding on about 25 HOPI CREPE MYRTLE SEEDS - Lagerstroemia indica . ( see my other crepe myrtle varieties ) Growth habit is fairly broad & rounded - occasionally becoming slightly wider than tall. Flower : Nice uniform deep rose to mauve colored blooms typically start in July, and last well into the latter part of September or beyond.....depending on weather patterns at that time of year. Mature Height: 7 - 10 ft Mature Width: 6 - 9 ft Hardiness Zones: 6 - 10 - Much more cold hardy than most varieties, but can still suffer branch die back at temps below 5 -10 degrees. It is native from the Himalayas through southern China, southeast Asia and Japan Medicinal use of Crepe Myrtle: The stem bark is febrifuge, stimulant and styptic. The bark, flowers and leaves are considered to be hydrogogue and a drastic purgative. A paste of the flowers is applied externally to cuts and wounds. The root is astringent, detoxicant and diuretic.
