Pinewoods Milkweed Asclepias Humistrata5+ Seeds Also called Sandhill or Purple Milkweed This Florida Native flower is a show stopper! The little flowers form in a ball that is about 3 inches around. Many Bee's & Butterflies love to visit the flowers in April - June. The leaves are really unique too. They are a bluish / green with very pink veins. We will get some more photos of this soon. This rare milkweed seed is very hard to find. No worries, we have plenty :) The plant itself likes it very hot & fairly dry. Plant in an area with full sun. The seed itself is very fragile, so be sure to handle carefully. These seeds were harvested May 2024 Seed Starting Be careful - these seeds are very fragile Be sure soil is not too rich or too wet as these seeds will rot easily. If you are in Florida, the best bet is using native sand with potting soil in a 50/50 mix.
