Organic Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) SEEDS. Zone 8-12. Can be grown as an annual in colder zones. Likes full sun. Grows up to 3 feet tall. Space plants two feet apart. In colder zones, dig the root in the fall for medicinal uses. The mature plant in the picture is to show what ashwagandha looks like when grown and the small plant picture is what it looks like when it is a seedling. YOU DO NOT GET PLANTS. THESE ARE SEEDS. Press seed onto moist soil and keep moist and in light until germination which could take 30 to 60 days. A cold cycle for 1 to 3 months to help break the dormancy of the seed is beneficial. Also planting the seed in the fall is helpful. Spotty and slow germination is common with ashwagandha. 50 seeds per pkg.
