These beautiful plants grow best in full sun to part shade and are hardy to zone 8b. These were collected from specimens in zone 8b, where standard Queen Palms and even the Santa Catarina Queen Palms have died from cold, this particular strain from extreme southern Brazil and into Uruguay has survived through 16F.
