Once established there is little care needed.. They seem to withstand the heat and the flowers are absolutely gorgeous! The blooms are at least 4-6 inches in diameter and seem to last in full bloom. They will bloom in the summer months and die down once frost comes and will regrow back from the rooted plant each year putting on a really nice show for you in your garden.. They do multiply too as the birds carry the seeds around.. They can grow up to 6 ft. tall and about 4-5 ft wide with lots of stems with flowers growing on the tops... I cut them down every year to about 12 inches from the ground and wait each spring/summer for them to starting growing again.. I know you will love these.These are NOT the tropicals...and they can take the cold weather...Follow the hint sheet given out with all Seed listings... They do not like to be transplanted but if you do move them.. They will regrow back cause once you have the roots and keep them watered if transplanting they will return and grow..
