'Pink Lady' portulaca purslane flower seed. Annual. Will reseed. Cute pink striped flowers. The plant is a succulent and doesn't need much water. Will grow well in drier soils. Grows 3 to 4 inches tall and sprawls. Good for hanging pots and baskets or as a summer ground cover. Planting the seedlings close together (once you have the seed started to that point) gives you more of a nice thicker flower mass when they start to flower. You can always transplant them by carefully digging them out and transplanting them elsewhere and keeping watered and they will do fine in their new spot. You may also break off a stem and take off the bottom few sets of leaves and push the little stem in the soil and it will sprout new roots in a couple weeks and have a new plant. Press seeds onto moist soil and keep moist until germination which should be around 14 to 21 days. Start seed indoors 8 to 10 weeks before planting outdoors or sprinkle and press the seed on moist soil outdoors in early Spring. 40 seeds.
