Ohio Blue is an open-pollinated heirloom corn variety with large kernels and tall plants. It is a robust, heirloom, semi-dent corn variety (circa 1920) known for its deep blue kernels, high nutrient value, and adaptability. These 10-foot, tall stalks produce two large ears, making it ideal for grinding into nutty, sweet cornmeal, polenta, or tortillas, while also being popular for livestock feed. Ears are medium sized and typically 8-10 inches long. Please note that this seed was grown during the 2025 season on our farm in West Virginia. We cannot guarantee germination rate or yield. There may also be occasional cracked kernels or small pieces of cob and husk mixed in with seed. Thank you for supporting our family farm!
