Lychnis Viscaria Alba – Snowbird is a plant with clusters of white flowers that are ¾ of an inch across with notched petals. It has foliage that is oval – oblong shaped with leaves that are a dark green color that are 3 inches long that have sticky unbranched stems. This plant is known for exceptional hardiness and is tolerant of poor soils and little water and is also praised for its mat forming and clump-forming nature. It has a blooming season ranging from early to mid-Summer, can be grown in either Full Sun or Part Shade, and will grow up to 30 inches tall in well – draining soil. These plants are resistant to Deer and Rabbits and are generally pest-free. These flowers are great for cut flowers, in beds and borders in the garden, and also act as great groundcovers.
