Love-In-A-Mist seeds are very easy to grow, and this hardy annual plant is one of the most interesting looking flowers with fine, fennel-like, foliage and charming, fluffy, 1.5 inch flowers in unique mixture of mauve, lavender, purple, rose and blue colors. Nigella Damascena comes into bloom very quickly blooming all summer long and forming interesting horned seed capsules, which are beautiful in dried arrangements. Love-In-A-Mist Jewels Mix is always recognizable by its unique mist of airy bracts, foliage and intriguing seed pods. Love-In-A-Mist is ideal for borders, flower beds, cottage gardens, cutting gardens, and when the Nigella flowers are planted in mass in a meadow, they seem to float in a mist. Where winters are mild Nigella Damascena seeds can be sown in the fall for very early spring bloom the following year. Love-In-A-Mist grows best in full sun, medium moist or dry soil and makes an excellent fresh or dried cut flower.
