It's known as Santa Cruz Island buckwheat and is native to California's northern Channel Islands and in San Miguel Island. Growing to 5 feet max in height and 10 feet wide. The flowers get a quarter-inch wide that is light pink in color and bloom from April to October. It grows well in most soil well-drained. Full Sun in Zones 7-10. Germination Sow seeds the thickness of the seeds on top of the medium and lightly cover. Keep moist in a bright spot. Do not cover and keep temperatures around 65-70F. Germination is in 14-60 days.
