It can tolerate hard pruning & can be kept small to even grow in a greenhouse. Very fast growing, about 5 feet a year until maturity. Full sun, drought tolerant, though it does like water during the growing season. Should not be exposed to temps below 30 degrees F. Bright scarlet red flowers bloom for weeks into Spring & Summer!
