ASTER GREMLIN DOUBLE VIOLET Callistephus Chinensis - 100 Bulk Seeds Aster Gremlin Double Violet Callistephus Chinensis is a half-hardy annual aster that is a long time favorite among gardeners. China Aster is easy to start from seeds, and this variety is commonly called Tiger Paw Aster for its curled petals that resemble tiger's paws. Aster Gremlin Violet grows 30 inches tall, and produces huge, fragrant, fully-double, violet flowers that attract myriads of bees and butterflies. China Aster has a wide range of garden uses such as sunny borders, flower beds, containers and pots, but one of the most common places where Gremlin Aster can be found is a cutting garden. Callistephus Chinensis grows best in full or partial sun and likes rich, moist and well-drained soil. Tiger Paw Aster is a beautiful cut flower with a striking appearance and long vase life.
