TWENTY FIVE healthy Comfrey plants [and/or crown cuttings] --They will be shipped bare root and with their tops trimmed.You will get 25 plants/crown cuttings from one of the middle four pictures--These plants are from my organic potager garden.I use Comfrey in a variety of ways-- but one my favorites is as a 'fortress weed barrier' around my garden--It prevents the lawn from coming into my garden!Other uses of comfrey can be a 'chop and drop' compost, compost tea, a living mulch, fresh chicken feed and as herbal medicine! [It really does make a lovely healing salve!][See pictures-- first and last pictures are of my own three year old 'Mother' Comfrey plants]These plants are very hardy— and will right bounce back after planting! I would plant that side upwards--Each plant should be covered with 2-3 inches of soil.Give each plant a little drink of water— and they should be good to go!Comfrey is very easy to start and it really is as easy as that!
