Plant grows to between 12 and 24 inches in height and produces large, umbellated clusters of rose-white flowers surrounded by green. Attracts many species of bees and butterflies, particularly monarch butterflies whose larvae feed exclusively on milkweed. Direct sow just beneath the soil's surface in late fall.
