You are bidding on 15 VIRIDIS LACELEAF MAPLE SEEDS - Acer palmatum var. dissectum 'Viridis' This laceleaf Japanese maple forms a cascading mound shape . It bears bright chartreuse green leaves 2”-3.5” long, divided into 7-10 lobes, each multi-dissected and extremely narrow with deeply cut side separations. Fall coloration is classified as golden-yellow with tints of red. . Height: Slowly reaches 8 to 10 ft. tallSpread: 8 ft. wide. Hardiness Zone: 5a-8b Medicinal use : None known Edible parts of Japanese Maple: The sap contains a certain amount of sugar and can either be used as a drink, or can be concentrated into a syrup by boiling off the water. The syrup is used as a sweetener on many foods. Other uses of Japanese Maple: The leaves are packed around apples, rootcrops etc to help preserve them.
