Virginia pepperweed grows in dry areas, therefore it does not need much water. It grows nicely here in zone 4. It is an annual but re-seeds nicely. The young seed pods can be used as a substitute for pepper. The leaves also have a peppery zing. Grows around 10 to 12 inches tall. Sprinkle the seed outdoors where you would like and mark it, or press seed onto moist soil and keep moist until germination. Unique plant. 50 seeds per pkg.
