An infusion of the whole plant without the root has been used by women desiring a female baby. We have never experimented with this plant, but thought these uses were too odd to be a myth! Culture Easily grown in dry to medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils with good drainage. Tolerant of heat, humidity and drought.
