Knowing my love of gardening, after a visit back to India, she had a surprise for me. This strain is the result of decades of genetic selection. It is a top producing strain grow by possible the best poppy farmers in the world. Unlike more modern strains, these poppys are still harvested by hand, the old way, without fancy machinery. The Raja poppy is a bush style, multi head poppy with snow white flowers. Average plants will produce 10-15 huge flowers, but with special care can produce well over 40.
