You are bidding on 50 seeds of Privet Cassia a host plant for many species of Sulfur Butterflies. The plant can be grown as a shrub or a tree. It has a palm like leaf structure and blooms with attractive yellow flowers throughout the spring and summer. It is freeze tolerant and will come back if hurt by a cold snap. The seeds need to be scarified and soaked in warm water for 24 hours as they have a hard seed coat. Germination occurs in about 10 days. Once established a Privet Cassia will seed so that you can always have an ample supply to cultivate. Seeds are sent in a padded envelope with USPS delivery.

The Flowers are Candle Shaped, Yellow & Orange in Color and Looks Strikingly Beautiful. The Fruit is a straight pod with small square seeds. Cassia Alata is a Very Important Medicinal Plant with Amazing Medicinal Uses and Health Benefits. Traditionally, it has been used for treating insect bites, ringworm, wounds, as a laxative, hypertension, skin diseases, decoction of the leaves are used for cough and to get rid of intestinal worms. Senna alata is a deciduous Shrub growing to 13ft by 13ft at a fast rate in it’s native habitat of zones 10-12.
