This is an excellent moss layer topper for potted plants and bonsai as an option that has more texture. Good chose for moderate tread tollerance as a shadey landscape ground cover. Can function as a miniature tree in terrarium settings and more. -This is a large clumping moss, 3/4 inch to 1″ diameter per sprig at its maturity. See images of our cultivated moss at different stages. The moss you will receive will be at a medium to mature growth stage. -Color range is deep forest green / olive -requires morning low sun to shade /dappled light to thrive or bright artificial lighting conditions. This moss can tolerate some dry conditions, but for best results and fastest growth, keep appropriate humidity. -Organic, great for use in terrarium, vivarium, fairy garden plant/ “grass”, as a bonsai pot topper, supply for wabikusa, kusamono, kokedama, landscaping projects, ground cover. -Consider using one of our moss mediums/additives for healthier, faster growing moss.
