They are white to pale blue, around 1-2 inches long, with petals that curl backward, revealing cream to white anthers. They are in bloom from late spring until early fall. It prefers to grow in part shade with well-drained soil. Bees, Birds, and Butterflies are attracted to it. Zones 5-10 Germination Place your seeds and some soil in a ziplock bag. Moisten the mixture enough to stick together like a hamburger. Write the name of the seeds on the bag. Place the mixture in your refrigerator for 60 days. Seeds can then be sown into a well-drained, sandy compost and covered lightly with sand or grit. Place the seed tray in filtered bright light and keep moist until germination.
