Makes a good tropical container plant. Considered a perenial semi-evergreen and will losse leaves for a couple of winter months. The plant flowers during the summer and fall. Small flowers nestles under the foliage, beginning as a small disk shape and maturing to a pink color with 6 petals. Katuk likes moist shady areas. Cannot tolerate frost.
