These are seeds from my tree that is growing in the mountains of West Virginia. To grow them is easy if you look at my picture. You must keep them damp or they die I planted these seeds in march.

It was cultivated centuries ago in Japan where it is valued in many traditions 6. Recently it has also been grown in plantations and harvested for export to Japan where its wood is highly valued 7.
