Arizona Foldwing Seeds Dicliptera resupinata Native Desert Plant Purple Flowers. 50+ seeds. I got this plant from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum native plant sale a few years back. I put it in the shade where my ac dripped water and it soon spread throughout the shady areas of my yard by seed, sort of a viny groundcover. Small purple flowers in spring become exploding seed pods in summer. Native to southern AZ and into Mexico, various elevations. Does OK in hotter areas like Phoenix/Tuscon, in shade. Dries out in summer and comes back from seed with rain.
