Fuchsia Live Plant, Well-Rooted Plug, Healthy Starter Plants For SALE
Fuchsia are morning-sun plants native to the Caribbean. They are widely used in hanging baskets and 4” pots and are known for the oddly-shaped blooms that drop down from the foliage to show off during the spring. When planning your crop, be sure to choose trailing varieties for hanging baskets. ***1.These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 3-4 inch pot before planting outside. ***2.There are 3 type Fuchsia: trailing, upright and semi-trailing. Trailing: blacky, blue eye, dark eye, marinka, swingtime, Voodoo, La Campanella Upright: city lights, dollar princess, rose blue, polar, standup red white, standup pink and gartenmeister , Gillian Althea, Paula Jane, Lambaba, Annabelle White, Semi-trailing: Carmine white, fuchsita red white, Corabells Red White, Corabells Dark Eye, Patio Princess, Corabells Dark Eyes, Pink Marshmallow, White Eyes When planning your crop, be sure to choose trailing varieties for hanging baskets and upright varieties for pots or ground. Semi-trailing can be both. Planting Guide:We recommend planting 4 starter plants per 10 inch basket (trailing varieties only). Use a well-drained soil in your baskets and plant your starter plants deep, allowing the ellepot to be completely covered by the soil. If you are planting 4” pots, 1 plant per pot should be sufficient. Plant it directly in the middle of your pot.Pinch 5-10 days after transplant, once the roots are established. Additional pinches every month may be required to shape your final pot. Remember to give your Fuchsia 4 weeks from their final pinch to reach bloom stage.Flowering Fuchsia bloom naturally as the days lengthen. If you are looking for an early crop, you can light your plants starting in late winter to force blooming early in the spring. This will allow you have a longer peak season with your plants before the summer heat makes them hard to maintain. Pinching We recommend one pinch 5-10 days after transplant. Additional pinches every 3-4 weeks will create the perfectly-shaped pot. Give the plant 6-8 weeks from the last pinch to produce blooms. Spacing Fuchsia should be spaced adequately to allow airflow and light penetration between the foliage. Usually 2’ staggered centers on baskets will be enough to allow for the spreading foliage to grow. An important key to keep fuchsia blooming strong is to keep it out of the hot mid-day sun. Fuchsia performs better when it gets cooler early morning or late day sunlight. This is exactly why partially shaded porches are one of the best locations to grow fuchsia. Happy gardening, happy life! :)) Important notice:Please understand these are living plants. We try our very best to pack and ship out a healthy plant as soon as we receive your order. Butterfly Bush / Buzz Live Plant, Long-blooming & Easy to Grow 3-4″ Pot
Buddleja Davidii, also known as Butterfly Bush, is a perennial upright shrub native to China and Japan. The “Buzz” cultivar was developed in England by Thompson and Morgan as a compact, non-invasive variety. Davidii Buzz is sterile and reaches 3-5′ tall by 2-3′ wide, making it the perfect patio shrub. Though the bush takes up less space than the typical Buddleja, the flowers are still 6-8″ long, fragrant, and in bloom from June-September. This plant attracts bees and butterflies and will tolerate any well-drained soil. In ideal conditions, planted in the ground, these perennials will live up to 10 years. Container shrubs may require transplanting after a few years. Buzz is low-maintenance and hardy in zones 5-9. *** Each plant come in a 3 1/4″ or 4″ pot. *** Growing Tips:1. Whether in a large container or the ground, plant Buddleja Davidii Buzz in well-drained soil in full sun. While this shrub can withstand average soil and some drought, it does not succeed in overly wet conditions. 2. Deadhead blooms promptly for a tidy appearance and to encourage continuous blooming until first frost. 3. Cut back to 12-24″ after last frost or in early spring (or, in colder climates, it will die back on its own). Fertilize once a year in spring. ***Please understand that these are living plants. Rhododendron, Carolina Azalea (Pink Purple) – 100 seeds – Heirloom Flowering Sh
Rhododendron, Carolina Azalea (Rhododendron carolinianum) – 100 Seeds • Heirloom • Non-GMO • American Grown Seeds • Perennial • USDA Zone: 5-9 The Carolina Azalea, or Rhododendron carolinianum, is a prized heirloom flowering shrub known for its classic pink and purple blooms. This small, delicate plant forms a rounded mound, showcasing its evergreen foliage and stunning 3″ flowers in May. Each variation, from pink to purple, depends on the specific strain, offering a delightful splash of color to any garden. To thrive, the Carolina Azalea requires acidic soil with good drainage and varying degrees of shade—lighter in the North and denser in the South. Adding this plant to your garden not only brings a touch of glamour but also enhances biodiversity with its vibrant blooms. *Rhododendron seeds have a naturally low germination rate of about 40%. Best practice is to double up your sowing efforts to put the odds in your favor. GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Use a sterile seed starting mix. Light is required for germination, so surface sow thinly. Mist water and do not allow to dry out which is often fatal to seeds and is the cause of most germination failures. Cover the container or pot in a plastic bag to create a humid environment. Place in full sun or under grow lamp. You can remove plastic bag once seedlings emerge, but keeping it can help weaker seedlings develop. After the seedlings have their 2nd set of leaves (true leaves), GENTLY transplant into individual pots. Fertilize every 3-4 weeks until the size of a small plant. Harden off before transplanting outdoors. Keep evenly moist through the first growing season. • FREE SHIPPING on all orders of $35 or more. • Flat Rate shipping no matter how many seeds you order. • Growing instructions included on each seed packet.
