Its maturation is quite different from other peppers, as it starts with green with white stripes before ripening to full red color with a whole range of colors in between. As with other sweet pepper varieties, the longer you leave them on the plant, the sweeter the pods will become. In addition to their sweet flavor and crispy texture, their leaves offer eye-catching visuals.
