Hosta longipes var. longipes is a perennial in the Liliaceae family. Its native range is in Japan. A species of Hosta that is small to medium size, around 6 to 10 inches high and 8 to 12 inches with foliage. The leaves are medium to dark green with a smooth texture. Leaves are shiny on the underside, thick, wavy, and with a heart-shaped base. Dense clusters of pale purple flowers with purple anthers that reach 20 to 30-inch scapes.
