Hibiscus moscheutos Luna Pink Swirl is a perennial shrub in the Malvaceae family. Great for a container to place on your back porch. It can grow to 4 feet tall and wide if planted in full sun with good air circulation. You may cut this one back for winterizing. The flowers are 8" inches across, and the dark green leaves provide a perfect background to display these amazing blooms. It can grow in rich soils and would prefer some fertilizer once a month. Butterflies, bees, and birds are attracted to it from July through September. Zones 5-11 Germination Mix seeds and moistened soil together in a ziplock bag. Write the name on the bag. Place in the refrigerator for 30 days. Sow seeds 1/4" deep into a well-drained, sandy compost and cover seeds with sand or grit. Place the seed tray in bright light and keep moist. Seeds may germinate slowly.
