Common yellow wood sorrel, sometimes known as Oxalis, is a low growing plant, 4 to 5 inches tall and commonly found in grassy areas. It has a sourness to its small heart-shaped, three lobed leaflets, which are commonly used in salads. It develops small yellow flowers and then a seed pod about a half inch long that will burst open when ripe, and the seeds will shoot one to two feet from the plant for to reproduce. Kind of unique. Annual, but re-seeds. Sprinkle seeds out in Fall, or early spring, so they have a cold cycle. Press seeds onto moist soil so they stay there (Do not cover seeds) and they will sprout when conditions are right. They like sun and partial shade. 40 seeds per pkg.
