You are bidding on 15 AUTUMN GLORY JAPANESE MAPLE SEEDS - Acer palmatum 'Autumn Glory'.This is a green Japanese maple that is known for having one of the best fiery orange to red fall color. The leaves have a lovely green vein which stands out against the beautiful red/purple leaf color. Seeds are very small . This is heat tolerant and a vigorous grower and may reach 15 ft in 10 years. Zones 5-9 Hardiness Zone: 5-9 Height: 15 feet Medicinal use : None known Edible parts of Japanese Maple:The sap contains a certain amount of sugar and can either be used as a drink, or can be concentrated into a syrup by boiling off the water. The syrup is used as a sweetener on many foods. Other uses of Japanese Maple: The leaves are packed around apples, rootcrops etc to help preserve them.
